Fog can make for a lot of beauty in nature. A misty morning hanging over a deserted road somewhere in the Betuwe can provide a lot of beauty. The Betuwe in the beautiful Dutch province of Gelderland between the rivers Waal, Lek and Nederrijn Where the name Betuwe comes from is still under discussion. Originally, the Betuwe would mean good soil, against the Veluwe which means bad soil. Another possibility is that the name Betuwe is derived from Germanic tribe Batavians.
