Blooming heather during an overcast day with occasional sunshine, at De Boswachterij Dwingeloo. This is an area of about 1,800 acres owned by the Forestry Commission. The Boswachterij Dwingeloo is part of the Dutch National Park Dwingelderveld. The forest was created in the early 20th century to combat sand drifts.
