About "Naked leaves 3"

About the artwork

This digitally produced work is an amalgamation of a structure from a photograph (rope) and a previously made line drawing of leaf skeletons. The layers are fused together with other colourful layers of brush strokes and text to create this colourful work. The text in binary code is a nod to digital art, as I like to use digital tools. I created this work, with a few others, out of my need to add more life and colour to my images, using self-made photos of structures that I come across everywhere as well as my (one-)line drawings. The details in this work give you a reason to see something new every time. The contrast of lines and colours make it speak and exciting. My work is inspired by nature, flowers and plants, all the beauty Mother Earth gives us. My personal tribute! Let's take care of all that beauty, and use it with respect and love, nature can do very well without us, we not without nature

I was always drawing ー as early as primary school, the margin of my notebooks was full of scribbles that didn't have much to do with what was supposed to be there. A lot of nature, especially flora.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
