About the artwork

In a chilly, industrial space of raw concrete stands a naked woman, her fragile figure illuminated by a mysterious, warm glow. On her head rests a large lampshade, which diffuses soft diffused light, as if she were a living lamp herself. Her skin captures the warmth of the light, giving her a surreal, almost ethereal appearance amid the grey, chilly surroundings. A single electricity cable winds from the wall to her body, like a lifeline connecting her to an invisible energy source. The room is empty except for a few shadows dancing through the faint light on the walls. Her pose is static, almost serene, as if she has surrendered to her role as a source of light in this desolate space. Is she an object or a being of flesh and blood? The painting raises questions about connection, identity and the fragile boundary between man and machine.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
