Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.

About ‘Naked blonde on an antique armchair’ by Matthias Stolt

The pretty blonde model posed on an antique armchair in front of a painted studio backdrop. The photo was taken during a book project entitled " "Erotik-Workshop live" ". We rented a large finca in Mallorca for this book project. All participants were tasked with realising their own image ideas within a week. The resulting illustrated book was very well received and sold well. I took this photo to demonstrate different lighting techniques. A studio flash system with various attachments and light modifiers was used for this purpose. The photo was taken on slide film and then scanned.

Matthias Stolt

Hamburg, Germany

I worked as a freelance photo designer for 25 years. My focus was on fashion and advertising photography. I am also the author of numerous books and articles in trade magazines.
Before becoming self-employed, I worked in marketing for a large camera manufacturer, where I was in charge of public relations.

I discovered my love of photography during my training as a retoucher. This sparked a desire not only to edit photos, but to take them myself.
