Deep in the forest, the silence of night still reigns. The tall conifers stand close together, forming a dark, almost sacred vault where the first morning light does not yet penetrate. The air is cool and heavy with the smell of damp earth and resin. Mist wisps between the trunks, like breath of the forest itself. The contours of the trees fade into the darkness, and the bench seems to merge into its surroundings, as if it has become part of the forest. There is an uncanny calm here, a place between night and day, where the light is still waiting to come in.
