About the artwork

In the early morning, even before sunrise, Heusden's historic harbour is shrouded in a thick fog. The characteristic mill, the charming little bridge and the harbour itself are atmospherically lit by warm lanterns, which reflect their soft glow in the still water. The fog dampens the world and creates an intimate atmosphere in which every detail of this picturesque scene stands out.

The warm lighting subtly contrasts with the cool tones of the morning mist and gives the picture a magical, almost timeless feel. The contours of the mill fade just enough to add mystery, while the little bridge reaches across the water like a silent witness. This is a moment when Heusden shows its unique charm, an interplay of history and nature.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
