About ‘Mussel beds in the Opal Coast, Normandy, France’ by Cynthia Plug

At Cap Gris-Nez, you have many mussel beds. Fantastic to see. You have to be careful to look when it is low tide though, at high tide they cannot be found as they will be underwater. A beautiful cloudy sky with pastel shades added to my day. This makes me very zen.

I drove here especially for this beautiful coast. There is so much beauty here and not only on the coast. The surrounding rolling hills are also a feast for the eyes.
I really did go for everything coastal though, mussel beds, cliffs, forts etcetera. For some reason, I can really clear my head and really enjoy all the beauty. The coast has so much to offer and is never the same. Really fun to photograph.

Here, I used a slow shutter speed to make the water look smooth and thus also enhance the reflection of the clouds in the water.

Hopefully this will make you as happy as I am.

Bought a Sony system camera, myfirstsony, at the end of 2019 and am enjoying it immensely. I prefer to photograph sunrises and sunsets and get restless if I haven't photographed for a few days. I get a lot of energy from it and also get to know the Netherlands. Photography has taught me a lot but I am still learning.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
