About ‘Musing on the beach’ by Geert Van Baelen

The sunset by the sea remains one of the most beautiful moments to capture. The warm colours of the setting sun, the quiet sound of the waves and the shimmer of the wet sand combine to create an atmosphere of tranquillity and inspiration. In this digital painting, created from a photograph I took myself, I have tried to capture that special feeling of stillness and wonder.

Using modern digital painting techniques, I have enhanced the reflection of the sunlight on the beach, adding to the golden glow and soft light of the evening sun. The lone figure in the distance symbolises the moment of contemplation that many people experience at a sunset by the sea - a time to muse, let go and enjoy the now.

Reverie on the Beach is an ode to nature, to the light of the sun and to the power of digital art to capture an emotion beyond words.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
