Once I had the opportunity to meet my great role model travel photographer Steve McCurry at a Nikon lecture. I asked him the question of which country he loved to travel to for photography. He answered Rajasthan. I had to look it up on the map but in 2018 I traveled to this special part in India.
For this photo, taken at the 'Gadisar Lake', I got up very early for the golden hour of sunlight. It was beautiful there and except for a few tourists, it was still very quiet. I was at this beautiful place when suddenly the musician came into view which completed the picture. The real lucky moments for a photographer!
