Small and more blue than green. These are the mushrooms the blue-green funnels. They can be spotted in abundance in the spring in acid and moist soils. Not surprising that I found them mostly in the Bargerveen in Drenthe. The only remaining peat bog in the Netherlands.
You could almost only see the species in the Netherlands on photos like this because the species was on the red list as seriously threatened until the 2000s. Thanks to many nature development projects, the blue-green funnelbill is back and I was also able to photograph it.
A photogenic species that, among other things, looks very good with a dark blue bank like petrol or cobalt.
