Blue grape (Muscari) is one of the first plants to show colour when everything else looks bare and in hibernation. At first you only see green blades, but soon a hint of blue, white or pink can be spotted. This grows into a small spear made up of small spheres. From a distance it looks like a bunch of grapes, hence the name. Depending on the variety, the flowers can be powder blue, azure, royal blue or purple, and there are also white and pink grapes (which are also called grape hyacinth). Potted Blue Grape is optimally prepared by the grower to immediately brighten up your garden or patio, and blooms in February and March until late April.
