About ‘Mountain peak in the clouds’ by Michiel Dros

The Khan Tengri is a mountain peak at the three-border point of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and China. The mountain is situated in the Tien Shan mountain range. The Khan Tengri base camp, at >4000m altitude from where this photo was taken, can be reached by helicopter from the eastern part of Kyrgyzstan.
