About ‘Mountain panorama from the Kanzelwand’ by Walter G. Allgöwer

On a gloriously beautiful August day, as the sun shone gently over the peaks of the Allgäu Alps, I stood on the Kanzelwand, 2058 metres above the everyday. A breathtaking panorama stretched out before me, making my heart beat faster. The Hohe Ifen, majestic at 2230 metres, towered proudly into the sky and offered a fascinating contrast to the gentle hills of the surrounding landscape.
The mountain station of the Kanzelwand cable car, a meeting place, was surrounded by cheerful hikers and the fresh mountain air, which brought with it the scent of ripe alpine herbs. The glistening Riezler Alpsee reflected the impressive peaks and created a harmonious interplay between water and rock.
Every angle revealed a new facet of this unspoilt nature that captivated me. The gentle meadows, dotted with colourful wildflowers, seemed to dance in the light of the setting sun. At that moment, I felt at one with nature and the panorama I captured will always symbolise the beauty and peace of the Alps. A day that will shine in my memory like the clear sky above me.
