A newborn humpback whale calf swims slowly above its mother. Although the baby humpback seems small compared to its mothers' head, it is already well over 2000kg and between 4-5 metres long. Yes whales are big animals! This photo was selected and featured by Nikon Netherlands for their 100th Year Anniversary.
