The peace and quiet of the early morning can be found in this picture. Because of the fog, all disturbing elements in the background disappear. The focus is now entirely on the row of trees. It's as if they're in a totally deserted landscape. The tree on the right in the picture seems to be bigger than the group of trees that seem to get smaller and smaller towards the right. However, this is a deception, because the right tree is closer than the group.
Laurents was born in 1962 in Hengelo (the Netherlands). He took his first pictures when he was 10 years old with an AGFA clack camera, but the real love for photography started in 1979 when he bought his first SLR camera.
