The sun still fairly high in the sky when we arrive at a beautiful wet moorland. We are looking for moor frogs. The male moor frog turns blue in spring, when the water temperature begins to rise. It is mating season for the moor frog. Once found, I lie flat on the ground and try to photograph the frogs at eye level. The bright sunlight reflects in the background of the image and makes big orbs.
The lovely spring sun warms the fen and more and more frogs come to enjoy the sun. Meanwhile, they croak lustily. Now, lets wait for one to come closer...
Spring is a wonderful season to be outside. Everything is sprouting and the animals are slowly becoming more active. I try to be outside as often as possible and enjoy nature.
