About ‘Monument to allied pilots in Harderwijk’ by Wesley Heyne
Between 1941 and 1945, 117 crew members of Allied aircraft lost their lives in or near Harderwijk, mostly in the IJsselmeer. This artwork honours their memory. I captured this when the sun was just setting with a shutter speed of 3 minutes to get a serene calm in the picture.

Hi, my name is Wesley and I love to grab the camera bag and go out. Architecture especially appeals to me. And preferably when the sun has been setting for a long time. Furthermore, every time of the day, all seasons or the many and varied weather conditions has unique properties to be beautifully recorded on record.
