About ‘Monument in Winkel’ by Digital Art Nederland
The former town hall was built as a rectory for the administrative and judicial authorities in 1599. In 1666, it was given a floor and a wooden tower. The building also served as a daredevil and in the nineteenth century it became the town hall of the new municipality of Winkel.
