About ‘Montmartre in Paris.’ by Ineke de Rijk
Now that we can't go on holiday to Paris we decided to make a watercolour to get a taste of the atmosphere. In Montmartre especially the Place du Tetre is known as a place where many painters come. Also in the past many famous painters came here to a.o. Vincent van Gogh. It was an art centre.

Ineke de Rijk's inspiring travels
From the Algarve to The GambiaI have time to draw and paint more after years of volunteer work for the St. Care Foundation The Gambia. Inspiration I got in the Gambia where I also lived. The colors, the population and life is a great source of inspiration. But also the quieter life now is inspiring to use softer colours and to work more with pastel chalk. But still it's nice to work in all kinds of colours and to try out new techniques and new materials.
