About the artwork

Sometimes you catch just the right moment - like this curious monkey in the middle of the Kruger Park, pausing for a moment among the leaves with an orange flower in his hand. As if smelling it, or just wondering if it's edible. I was tucked away with my 400mm lens, and this moment almost felt like I got to peek into his world for a moment.

The flower's warm colours contrast nicely with the greyish fur and deep green of the tree. You keep looking at his gaze - sharp, stubborn, a little dreamy perhaps.

This picture is perfect for the wall if you love wildlife, travel or simply want something in your home that tells a story. It's one of those images that people stop and think about as they walk by. A touch of Africa, straight from nature, with no frills.

Whether you have been to South Africa yourself or just dream of travelling far away, this print brings a slice of safari to your living room, study or bedroom. Every time you see it, you get that little "wow" moment again.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
