Monkey - thumbs up, headphones & IN MY ELEMENT, chimpanzees in the cannabis field (3)

by AidasignArt

Here he sits - in the middle of the cannabis field that has decided to turn itself into a party zone: pink, purple and green explode like confetti on a colour rollercoaster. I have no idea who cultivated the field, but obviously the good humour has grown in abundance. It's a wild, cheerful mess that screams: "Everything can shine here - and really!"

In the middle of this intoxicating sea of colour, he sits as if on an inner throne - a grinning, pink chimpanzee, painted with a slightly impasto, playful application of paint, as if the brush is having its best day ever. He is not simply sitting. He is meditating in an after-work posture. A Zen master of deceleration, in harmony with himself, his surroundings and presumably his favourite playlist. A hand raises its thumb: not a motivational poster, but pure realisation. Running.

His pink coat stands out confidently, as if the colours had decided to produce only winners today. The spacey glasses promise foresight, the headphones politely say: "Please don't disturb me, I'm with me right now." At the bottom right you can read "IN MY ELEMENT" - subtle, casual, a motto for life without a hashtag, but with maximum coolness.

This work is not an appeal, not an instruction, not a raised index finger. It is a colourful wink, a humorous exaggeration, a statement: serenity can look damn good. And this monkey? He knows exactly that.

Part of the series "Chimpanzees in the cannabis field" - a colourful ensemble of Zen masters on four paws who embrace every viewer with humour, colour and serenity.
