About ‘Momentum, The Time Machine in a futuristic, park-like landscape’ by Schaeffers Visuelen

Based on the classic 1960 film. I have omitted the Morlocks because I wanted to focus on the park-like, golden-brown landscape. Shown here is the time traveller feeding (futuristic) birds. It is a relaxed moment, a fraction of time, yet with momentum. The original work is in watercolour/acrylic and parquet varnish on heavy paper.

Born in 1964. Education: MSc (Eng.) in Software Engineering, with minor subjects in Visual Arts, Technology as a Cultural Phenomenon, Philosophy and Psychology. From 1987 until 1 September 2025, I worked as an Enterprise Software / Data Engineer at a company in Venray. I have been drawing, painting and creating all sorts of objects since childhood.
