Modern architecture.
The sleek lines of the Paul Löbe Haus, part of the German Bundestag, with three small figures on the grand staircase. The Spree River is just visible below. The building's glass wall reflects parts of the building and the blue sky. The colors are muted, blue and beige.
The building is grand and imposing, yet also austere and unforgiving. The three figures define the building's dimensions and prevent it from having a cold appearance.
The location has a special historical significance. Several people were shot here when they tried to swim across the Spree and flee the GDR. It is precisely at this spot that the symbol of German unity now stands.
The photo emphasizes the insignificance of humanity compared to the omnipotence of the government.
The sleek horizontal, vertical, and diagonal lines and the subdued complementary colors make this photo very suitable for a modern interior.
