Central building complex of the Gehry buildings in Düsseldorf's Media Harbour
The Canadian-American architect Frank O. Gehry helped design Düsseldorf's Media Harbour. The result is three contrasting building sections that look like a giant sculpture: the Neue Zollhof. No matter how long you look at the three buildings: You won't find any symmetry. Instead, the windows protruding from the façades catch the eye at first glance. The extremely different façade designs are also striking: bright white plaster meets brick and both are reflected in the façade of the centre building complex.
