Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.
Still nothing? Open this page in Chrome or Safari. AR does not work in the browser of apps such as Instagram or Facebook.

About ‘Modelled shadow – a sculptural nude portrait in black and white’ by Retinas images

This work is an ode to form, light and the subtle power of artistic nudity. The composition focuses entirely on the soft curves of the body, with the silhouette becoming almost sculptural thanks to the sharp light gliding across the skin.

The contrast between the deep shadow and intense, almost tactile highlights creates a dramatic field of tension in which every texture-from skin grain to muscle line-is accentuated. This controlled light creates a natural sculpturality that elevates the body into a study of pure aesthetic beauty.

The hand resting on the curve adds another layer of meaning: a moment of touch, introspection, awareness of one's own body. It is soft, but also powerful; a reminder that sensuality does not scream, but whispers. The absence of background and context reinforces this focus. Everything revolves around form, light and shadow-a minimalist approach that makes the composition timeless.

This work is ideally suited to a collection that focuses on elegant, high-quality fine-art photography. It combines intimacy with sophistication and presents the body not as an object but as an art form-a carefully composed study of light, texture and human beauty.
