Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.

About ‘Mitre Peak and Milford Sound, New Zealand’ by Rini Kools

Milford Sound (Maori: Piopiotahi) in Fiordland National Park on New Zealand's South Island is Fjordland's most famous fjord. It is named after Milford Haven in Wales. The fjord is about 16 km long to open sea and 100 to 450 metres deep. Very typical are the high and very steep rocks surrounding the fjord. These rocks are about 1,200 metres high.
There are several tourist attractions, such as cruises on the fjord and the underwater observatory. There are also sea lions and other animals in the fjord. The highest point in the fjord is Mitre Peak with a height of 1,692 metres.
Tourists manage to reach the place through organisations departing from Queenstown, Invercargill or Te Anau, 118 kilometres away. Milford Sound is also the terminus of one of the most beautiful hiking trails in the world: the Milford Track.
Milford Sound receives an average of 6813 mm of precipitation for 182 days a year. This makes it the wettest place in New Zealand. Fortunately, on the day of our visit we were able to enjoy blue and cloudless skies and pleasant temperatures.
