Mildenburg was an orchard in the dunes near Oostvoorne around 1700. It then grew into an estate with a manor house, a baroque garden, a maze and a teahouse. Part of it was also used as a coppice forest. Much of this has now disappeared, but on this walk you will still discover old lanes, a shrub garden and monumental trees. The Zuid-Hollands Landschap Foundation has managed the estate since 1957 and tries to keep these estate elements intact.
