When autumn sweeps across the north of Sweden, nature begins to speak in vibrant colours. This picture shows a classic scene from Lapland: a calm lake whose smooth surface becomes a perfect mirror. The adjacent forest glows in yellow, orange, red and deep green - a colourful mosaic that doubles in the water. The symmetry is almost perfect; only a golden branch on the right-hand edge of the picture breaks the calm of the mirror and gives the motif depth and dynamism.
It is a picture of tranquillity - and an image of change. Trees are losing their leaves, nature is retreating before the long winter sets in. But for a moment, time seems to stand still. The colours celebrate one last festival, the light is soft, warm, restrained. There is a power in this stillness that you could almost ignore - if you don't pause for a moment.
Sweden is known for its clear air, its vastness, its unspoilt landscapes. Especially in northern Sweden, where remoteness becomes an experience, autumn reveals itself in a depth that has become rare. Here you can hike, pick mushrooms and berries - or simply sit quietly on the shore and watch. Photographers don't need a backdrop here - just patience and an eye for the essentials.
Nature photography in this scene thrives on balance. Nothing is spectacular - and yet everything is impressive. The contrast between sky and water, the reflection of the forest, the calm colours of the trees - everything is in balance. The composition has a meditative effect. The viewer's gaze is immersed in colour, form, light and line. There is nothing empty about this stillness - it is filled with meaning.

I have always enjoyed photography. Even when I was young, I took photos with the Beirette. It even happened to me once that I inserted a film twice ... and the photos I took were very interesting.
I then bought my digital SLR camera in 2014. The first photos..
