Tips for use

Point your camera at the floor or a piece of furniture first, then move it slowly up towards the wall. A bare white wall is hard for your phone to recognise.
Move your phone gently from side to side. Holding it still or waving it around quickly does not help.
Make sure there is enough light. In a dark room your phone has nothing to lock onto.
The artwork appears at its true size, so you cannot scale it in AR. Want a different size? Close AR and pick the size on the product page.

About ‘Mingun: Mingun Pahtodawgyi’ by Maarten Verhees

De Mingun is een onvolledige monumentenstupa in Mingun, ongeveer 10 kilometer (6,6 mijl) ten noordwesten van Mandalay in de regio Sagaing in het centrum van Myanmar. De ruïnes zijn de overblijfselen van een grootschalig bouwproject, begonnen door koning Bodawpaya in 1790, dat opzettelijk onvoltooid was gebleven. De pahtodawgyi wordt gezien als de fysieke manifestaties van de bekende excentriciteiten van Bodawpaya. Hij richtte een observatiepost op op een eiland bij Mingun om persoonlijk toezicht te houden op de bouw van de tempel.
