About ‘Mill d' Olde Zwarver in Kampen’ by Erik Wilderdijk

Windmill d' Olde Zwarver is located directly on the river IJssel in Kampen. The milk factory, then owner, wanted to demolish the mill in the early 1950s. Because the Kamper population strongly protested against this, the mill was not demolished, but in 1952 the entire mill was moved to its current location.
