About "Milky Way panorama over flower fields."

About the artwork

For some time I had the idea to shoot a galaxy panorama over the flower fields. First I started looking for suitable fields and waiting for the right conditions. On the night of April 17 the conditions were finally perfect! No moon and crystal clear, time to get going! Once on location I start shooting my panorama, first towards the south/east, where the core of the galaxy is. Then step by step I went north and something struck me! On the 1st photo that came in towards the north, I saw a faint pink glow, greenhouses were not there, because behind the few houses that were there, there was only sea and water. I checked several aurora apps and came to the conclusion that the KP index was at 6! (6 on a scale of 9, is pretty high!) A KP index of 6 means that in the Netherlands you can capture the northern lights, or at least, a small subtle tail of them, with your camera! With the naked eye it was not visible, but with a camera with a slow shutter speed it caught the light! I had not taken this into account at all, so I was very excited when I saw this! A nice addition to my otherwise quite 'normal' panorama!

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
