The church of Midwolda (avg. Oldambt) is a two-aisled hall church from 1738.
In 1708 the church was built and in 1738 the church building was completed. The former occupant of the Ennemaborg Johan Hora, was a major funder of the new church.
The church has a large organ from 1772 the famous organ builder Albertus Antoni Hinsz. It was funded by Johan Hora Siccama. This national monument is exceptionally large for a village organ. It has 33 stops over two manuals and a pedal. All of the pipe work to date is still original.
The picture shows the south side of the church and the cemetery behind it.
