During sunrise I took a walk along the little beach of Middelharnis and found this peaceful spot. I was there all alone, with nature and some birds. A wonderful place to unwind! The windmills are part of the landscape nowadays and show the depth nicely.

I live in the middle of nature, on the island of Goeree-Overflakkee. So it will be no surprise that the majority of my work is landscape photography, although I also like to photograph (old) cities. I find photography with filters and slow shutter speeds fascinating.
