About the artwork

In this picture, the essence of the Mediterranean street scene comes alive. The bright green double door, decorated with fine wrought-iron grilles, is an inviting entrance to a house that breathes sunshine, silence and warmth. Framed by white plasterwork and an ochre-yellow wall, the image plays with contrasts typical of southern European architecture.

Sunlight falls sharply on the facade, making colours light up and shadows dance. The small details - the slender ivy, the electrical cables, the brass doorknobs - give the scene character and humanity. This is not an anonymous door, but a gateway to a world of stories: of families, generations and daily rituals.

The simplicity of the composition makes the image powerful. The door symbolises welcome, but also seclusion; it preserves the calm of indoor life behind a façade full of light. The smooth, glossy paint contrasts with the rough texture of the wall, giving the picture an almost tangible depth. Here, colour and form meet in a quiet moment of harmony - a reminder of the South, of warmth, of the beauty of the ordinary.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
