On Sunday, the Goodwood Festival of Speed 2024 was all about Red Bull. The racing team is celebrating its 20-year anniversary in 2024 and is doing so at Goodwood with style. The celebration began with seven Red Bull cars's driving up the hill, including no fewer than six world champions. Starting with Christian Klein, who was right there at the beginning of Red Bull's F1 adventure, driving the RB1, to former Red Bull F1 drivers Mark Webber and Daniel Ricciardo at the wheel of the RB6 and RB7 respectively, two cars's from the era of Sebastian Vettel's dominance. Ricciardo delighted the crowd with a few donuts in front of the House, before driving up the hill followed by team boss Christian Horner in the RB8. Then came the team's current driver duo; reigning triple world champion Max in his 2021 champion RB16B and Sergio Pérez in the 2022 RB18. And what would Red Bull Racing be without the genius of Adrian Newey? The man to whom much of the team's success can be attributed drove up the hill in a car that, among F1 machines, showed his genius beyond the world of F1: the Aston Martin Valkyrie. He had an equally illustrious passenger, a certain David Coulthard.
