Doorways in the courtyard of the mausoleum of Ismael Moulay in Meknes, richly decorated with typical Moroccan details. The arches above the doors are impressive, with intricate patterns that seem almost carved from stone. Whether it is real stone or plaster, the precision with which these decorations have been applied is stunning. Every detail adds to the ornate look of the room. The contrast between the simplicity of the walls and the richness of these arches makes photographing such places a special experience. The sophisticated architecture tells a lot about the traditions of craftsmanship in Morocco.
