About "Mary, Light of Motherly Love"

About the artwork

This soft chalk work shows a mother figure lovingly holding her child against her. Light lines flow from her head and heart like rays of warmth and energy - a visual translation of care, connection and pure surrender. The flowing shapes and transparent colours - a mix of lilac, yellow and blue - make the image almost breathe.

The inspiration for this work comes from the classical image of Mary, but here it is reduced to the essence of motherly love itself: not religious, but universal. The lines are deliberately kept simple, allowing emotion to flow freely through the sculpture.

The atmosphere is calm, healing and tender. It radiates safety - a sense of security that everyone recognises, whether you are a parent or a child. The pastel shades and organic shapes give the work an almost meditative feel.

What are the delivery times?

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
