Virtually invisible to the naked eye, but very sticky tiny pollen grains are scattered on the leaves of the crocus. The lone grain is positioned in such a way that it looks like it is rolling away from the mound.
It is miraculous what you see, considering that a single grain is 0.1 mm in size (or actually small).
The fresh colours combined with the rounded shapes make it look soft.
