The Empire State Building seen under the Brooklyn Bridge from Brooklyn. the underside of the bridge offers a unique view into Manhattan New York,
All the steel in the image gives the photo an industrial look where urbanity and architecture dominate together.
The vertical and diagonal lines combined with the view of the city in the distance makes it both a dynamic and a peaceful static image. Perfect for on the wall in any room.
The Manhattan Bridge is a suspension bridge that spans the East River in New York. The bridge connects Manhattan to Brooklyn, as well as the Brooklyn Bridge. The bridge was designed by Polish bridge designer Ralph Modjeski and opened on Dec. 31, 1909.
The bridge has four lanes on the upper level split into two lanes on each side of the bridge; there is nothing in the middle section of the upper level. Two lanes go to Manhattan and the other two go to Brooklyn. On the lower layer there are three reversible lanes, a bike lane, four subway lines (between Canal Street or Grand Street and DeKalb Avenue or Atlantic Avenue-Pacific Street) and a pedestrian path. The three lower lanes are used toward Manhattan during the morning rush hour and toward Brooklyn during the evening rush hour.
