This picture was taken in Borneo and shows the aerial roots of the mangrove forest. The carrots are flooded twice a day. The photo has a high artistic content due to the depth of sharpness that has been applied and the low point of view in which the photo was taken. The colour also makes the photo mystical.
 
                                
                                        I was born on Goeree Overflakkee and there are beautiful nature reserves to photograph such as the Kwade Hoek and the Slikken van Flakkee. I love to travel and try to capture both the culture and nature of distant countries photographically.
