A butterfly symbolizes transformation into something very beautiful. Something that makes us very happy and gives a sense of freedom. Happiness is also like a butterfly. The color orange symbolizes inspiration, cheerfulness, happiness, enthusiasm and joy of life. This work brings warmth and positive energy to a space.
The butterfly sits on a lotus flower. This is another symbol of transformation into something beautiful. A lotus flower stands with its roots in the mud, grows with its stem through the water to the light and then blossoms.
When I look at this mandala I get all happy inside.
