The maize stands tall, golden green in low sunlight, while behind, dark clouds gather. Between the fields, wind turbines rise up-stretched white stripes in a dramatic sky.
That tension is typical of the Hageland I know: agriculture, weather and energy in one horizon.
I positioned the camera low so that the plumes of maize fill the image and the turbines above give rhythm.
This is the moment just after the shower, when the sky clears, the clouds move away and colours light up. For me, the work is about resilience and optimism; in the field it has rained, the blades have turned. The sky opens up and anything is possible.
In an interior, it brings dynamism and depth, ideal for those who love landscapes with character.
