About ‘Magical winter tree standing on the Hoge Veluwe’ by Andrea Rietbergen

On a visit to the Hoge Veluwe, I saw several animals, such as red deer, wild boar and many birds. Wonderful, but there I suddenly saw this lone tree, standing all solitary in this beautiful landscape. I therefore took this photo. The tree has been standing there for I don't know how many decades, year after year. Now in winter gear, waiting for spring, when it can bring out its leaves again.

This was a grey day, but seeing this lone tree made me think, this is beautiful.

I deliberately chose here to keep the tree full in the foreground and the trees in the distance in the background, that way you create the depth and grandeur in the landscape.

Texel is also a favorite island of mine.
The preference of my photo hobby goes out to nature photography and even birds. Macro I find very challenging to make a nice picture.

At Art Heroes we do not mass produce or keep stock, but make to order. Your artwork is made with passion by experienced craftsmen and is on average ready for shipment in 7 business days. Details on the exact delivery date will be sent after placement of the order. Depending on the shipping country the following delivery times apply:

Is your order a gift for someone? We can create you a gift voucher that displays the artwork(s) you ordered, so you have something to give while the artwork is being printed. Just send us an e-mail and we’ll take care of it.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
