A warm, sunny evening light lies over the fertile meadows and fields of the Oderbruch in the district of Märkisch-Oderland. Small round arched deciduous trees and pollarded willows stand scattered in the dreamy natural landscape.

Here in the district of Märkisch-Oderland, you can find peace and quiet, unwind and enjoy unique landscapes. At just two to five metres above sea level, the region is the lowest-lying corner of Brandenburg. Between Oderberg and Lebus, however, the inland delta is bordered by areas up to 100 metres high. From here, excursionists have a perfect view of this fascinating region!

This makes the Oderbruch the first cultural landscape to be awarded the seal of cultural heritage. Ideals and the history of the EU are symbolised here in a special way.
