This picture was taken shortly after sunset during the so-called blue hour in a long exposure. It shows the view over the Elbe to Magdeburg's old town and the famous Magdeburg Cathedral.

Magdeburg Cathedral is the city's landmark. The cathedral is the first Gothic cathedral to be designed from the outset and the earliest completed Gothic cathedral on German soil. It is the burial place of the founder of the Holy Roman Empire, Otto the Great, and his first wife, Queen Editha, and the most important sacred building in the eastern German states.

Magdeburg, the state capital of Saxony-Anhalt, is a central German city on the River Elbe. The Gothic cathedral of Magdeburg is located in the centre and is the burial church of Otto the Great, the first emperor of the Holy Roman Empire. The Museum of Cultural History traces the importance of the city in the Middle Ages with exhibitions on archaeology and local history. The Romanesque-style monastery of Our Lady houses a contemporary art gallery and a sculpture park.

How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers, mainly UPS and DHL (Depending on the country where it is delivered, this may vary). Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
