About the artwork

I photographed this impressive Lusitano stallion in the heart of Lisbon, in the middle of the beautiful colonnade of an old monastery. This horse, affectionately called 'grandfather' because of his age, was a great model. He stood calmly and patiently, as if he knew how special this moment was. Despite the hustle and bustle of the city around us, he did not let anything distract him. This is typical of Lusitanos: they are naturally brave, bred for bullfighting and therefore used to exciting situations.

The historical setting, with its imposing columns and soft light, makes this work extra special. The combination of the traditional Portuguese bridle worn by the horse and the serene architecture of the monastery exudes pure elegance and culture. It not only shows the beauty of the horse, but also tells a story about rich Portuguese tradition.

This picture is perfect for lovers of horse photography and anyone who wants to bring a piece of Mediterranean charm into their home. The work fits well in both modern and classic interiors. How will the package be sent?

We work with several carriers. Couriers can also be used for large or fragile packages.

Canvas are securely packed in plastic bubble wrap and cardboard. Wallpaper and posters are sent in sturdy tubes.

A courier collects the package from us and takes the package to a depot where it usually stays overnight. The day after it is collected and delivered to your home or office. We work with courier services that specialise in handling fragile parcels.

Not at home? Then the delivery driver will leave a note and an appointment can be made to schedule a new delivery.

Unfortunately, there remains a chance that something can happen during a shipment. In the unlikely event that your parcel has been damaged during transit, please take a picture of the entire item, the damage, the entire package and a picture of the shipping label. Send these photos to us by email and we will solve the problem without delay.
