Luftwaffe Panavia Tornado.
A Panavia Tornado of the German Air Force is about to take off from RAF Fairford. On the tail, the aircraft bears a sticker celebrating the 60th anniversary of the Luftwaffe.
The Panavia Tornado is a multi-role fighter aircraft. It is equipped with advanced equipment and sensors that make it capable of carrying out daytime and 'nighttime penetration missions at very low altitudes in all kinds of weather conditions.
The Tornado's crew includes a pilot and a weapons controller. The aircraft is equipped with two jet engines. Depending on the role for which the aircraft is deployed, it can carry a very diverse set of armaments such as conventional bombs but also nuclear weapons.
