The Airbus A340-300 is a four-engine long-haul commercial aircraft and is part of the Airbus A340 family.
The aircraft was developed at the same time as the Airbus A330 and also has obvious similarities. The aircraft can carry 375 to 440 passengers over a distance of as much as 11,500 kilometres. However, most airlines flying this type have a configuration that can accommodate 295 passengers. The flying range is then 13,500 kilometres.
