Louvre - Silhouettes in Paris
Moody atmosphere in one of the most famous places in the world. The Louvre Museum square, with the iconic pyramid, the historical palace and a group of people, probably most of them visitors or tourists. A place that any person that loves Paris would probably identify at first glance. A place that merges art and history, that's why any person that loves art would identify it at first glance too.
The sunlight as a backlight allowing a "contre-jour" effect helps to shape the silhouettes, making of this photo a modern composition with a mysterious and futuristic feel. That modern vibe is reinforced with the shadows of the people standing on a square that is usually crowded.
No need to have many colors to create all of these sensations, that's why I prefered to stay in a monochrome color palette.
This photograph will fit perfectly in a living room, great to match whatever the colors of the existing decor are.
